22 Feb 2019: The new April 2019 USS pension rate of 19.5% (currently 18%) for employers has been added into X5. In the Rates tab, the Salary Files show as ‘Out of date file’ and users will need to update it by clicking on ‘Apply all updated files now’.

8 Mar 2019: When costing grant applications to access shared equipment through the Henry Royce Institute, the EPSRC have advised that Royce equipment access costs must be entered into X5 as "Non-staff – Other Directly Incurred - OTHER COSTS – Consumables

10 May 2019: X5 has been updated with a new salary file with an effective date of 01/04/2019 which contains the proposed USS pension rate of 24.2%. Users who wish to use the existing rate of 19.5% should select the 01/02/2019 salary file.
